Sindicatum Solar Energy Rajasthan is located one hour from Jodhpur City in the state of Rajasthan (western India). The 5.2 MWp solar plant was commissioned in 2011 and has successfully operated since.

The region is blessed with one of the highest insolation levels observed in the country.

The project was developed under the National Solar Mission launched by the Government of India in 2010.  The plant is connected to the 220 kV Grid Substation (located nearly 4.5 kms from the project location) which is connected to the North Eastern Western North-Eastern Grid (NEWNE),

The electricity generated from the project is being sold under a long-term power purchase agreement with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd (NVVN). Jodhpur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (JdVVNL) is the associated Discom for the project.
