Nakhon Pathom Province, ThailandOperating and Sold

Crane Renewable Energy Limited, a subsidiary of SREC, completed construction and began exporting electricity under a Power Purchase Agreement with the Provincial Electricity Authority in August 2017.  The project is located near to SREC’s other two Landfill Gas to Energy (LFGE) projects located in the Kamphaeng Saen, Nakon Pathom, Thailand.

The project utilizes landfill gas generated from Municipal Solid Waste which has been disposed of in a sanitary landfill site located adjacent to the Power generation compound.  The overall design of the project both with the Landfill Gas extraction infrastructure and Power Generation compound, have been based on SREC’s two very successful award winning LFGE projects located nearby, Bangkok Greenpower and Zenith Green Energy.

 The project currently exports 3 MW from 3 newly installed GE Jenbacher engines.  The project holds a PPA for 8 MW under the VSPP adder incentive.

This project has been recently sold
