Sindicatum’s pioneering Sustainable Land Management programme involves the application of an integrated model of sustainable development to large areas of land in South East Asia, in order to produce sustainable timber and biomass for clean energy development, while promoting biodiversity, conservation and creating social benefits.  The programme will involve the acquisition of 50,000 hectares or more of dedicated land.

This initiatve is being developed by Sindicatum in conjunction with the World Resources Institute (“WRI”), an independent, Washington, D.C.-based non-partisan and nonprofit organization with a staff of more than 250 scientists, economists, policy experts, business analysts and statistical analysts, focused on sustainable development.
