Press Release: Sindicatum Wins Top Award for Sustainability in Singapore
SINGAPORE, 9 October 2014. Sindicatum Sustainable Resources was awarded yesterday the 2014 Singapore Sustainability Award (SME Category) by the Singapore Business Federation, the business chamber that champions the interests of the Singapore business community in trade, investment and industrial relations and represents over 21,000 companies.
Inaugurated in 2009, the Singapore Sustainability Awards showcase the most innovative and impactful sustainable practices and green solutions among organizations in Singapore. This award recognizes Sindicatum’s excellence in the demonstrable implementation of sustainable practice encompassing economic, social and environmental dimensions, to achieve the common goal of a sustainable future for all.
This Sindicatum award follows two other prestigious awards in the past two weeks. On 1 October 2014, Sindicatum won the Leadership in Sustainability award by the British Chamber of Commerce and on 23 September 2014, Sindicatum won the regional regional energy projects’ ASEAN Energy Award 2014, ‘On Grid – National Grid’ category, for its Thai Landfill-Gas-to-Energy projects.
Sindicatum CEO Assaad W. Razzouk commented:
“We are delighted to have won three prestigious awards in two weeks, all of which underscore our commitment to play a leading role in building Asia’s clean energy infrastructure by building high quality clean energy projects; our excellence in practicing what we preach, embedding sustainability in every aspect of our organization; and our advocacy role in highlighting the need for much more awareness for the need for climate action in a region at the forefront of suffering from climate change.”
