Bangkok, 1 October, 2014. Sindicatum Sustainable Resources (Thailand) has won the ASEAN Energy Awards 2014 under ‘On Grid – National Grid’ category of Renewable Energy Project Awards for its Thai Landfill-Gas-to-Energy (“LFGE”) projects.The awards were announced and presented at a ceremony in Vientiane, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (“P.D.R.”), on 23 September 2014.

The ASEAN Renewable Energy Awards shortlisted organisations that demonstrated originality, sophisticated technical expertise, market based solutions and significant socio-economic and environmental advantages. Sindicatum’s competition included the Selebam Small Hydro Power Plant by EDL-Generation, Lao P.D.R., and the Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic project by Pathgreen Energy, Malaysia, amongst others.
